A personal illustration project featuring Friedrich der Große from Azur Lane, treated as a high-fidelity art piece.
My main objective with this illustration was to capture her imposing, orchestral presence on the battlefield. The composition was built to emphasize scale, using the massive Iron Blood mechanical rigging to frame her silhouette and guide the viewer's eye toward her expression.
I heavily focused on material contrast and dramatic lighting—balancing the cold, specular highlights of the dark metallic dragons against the soft, light-absorbing velvets of her gothic attire.
